The Silver Hills Motel was the first motel in Tasmanian (1953) to serve the growing mining and tourist industry and is perfectly located to explore the Western Wilderness, or as a base for business in the area. Featuring 57 rooms, parking for coaches and cars, also with a large restaurant and the best views in Queenstown. Our welcoming restaurant is a great place to unwind with a drink sitting on chesterfield couches beside the historic open fire. The onsite restaurant offers a modern contemporary Australian menu with great daily specials. The bar is well stocked with Tasmanian products, most notably our Gin collection and old classics.
Silver Hills is located on the main road into Queenstown, elevated giving guests beautiful views of the sweeping mountains, affording a peaceful and private motel environment.
