Can I pay the owner directly?

No, unfortunately you can’t. But it’s safe and secure to use our integrated payment solution. If you pay through Camptoo you can use all of our services and our friendly staff is always happy to help you every step of the way.

Do I have to pay a security bond?

Yes, all travellers have to pay/authorise a security bond before they pick-up the vehicle (the latest 1 day before pick-up).  The security bond is used to cover the excess for insured incidents and/or accidents.  The security bond for campervans and motorhomes is $1500 and $1000 for caravans and camper trailers.

When is the reservation complete?

The reservation  is complete once the renter has made a payment. A payment can be made after the owner accepted a reservation request. As long as the reservation hasn’t been paid, travellers can still request reservations for the same period of time.

How can I pay for the booking?

You can easily and securely pay through our website. We allow Visa and Mastercard credit and debit card payments. Please get in touch if you want to make a bank transfer or if you have troubles with the payment. We are always happy to help.
