Ideal motorhome to tour Tasmania in as it’s not too big however comes fully equipped with shower and toilet, linen, towels, and complete kitchen equipment. Can be either 2 singles or a large double. I can collect and drop off to Launceston Airport. If you want me to collect from the Spirit of Tasmania, there will be a $40 fee. The motorhome collection point is George Town, 50 km north of Launceston. I can collect you in my car and bring you to George Town for the handover. The motorhome uses diesel fuel and is very economical, depending on driving conditions and driver. This vehicle is manual so hirers need to be experienced driving a manual vehicle. Collection can be anytime on day one by arrangement but the vehicle must be returned clean and tidy with toilet empty and full of fuel by midday on the final day of hire. Drivers need to be over 25 years. There is no limit on kilometres while in Tasmania. Minimum hire is 5 days.Show more Show less

The van was perfect. Mechanically it ran smoothly, it was extremely reliable and economical, we were both comfortable driving (even on Tassie’s narrow roads!)
Being completely self contained, we were free to camp almost anywhere.
Plenty of hot water, comfy bed, well regulated fridge, every cooking item we needed was there.. (even a coffee maker!) Fresh and clean linen, outdoor chairs and table, a few essential condiments.
Toilet was easy to empty (we weren’t going to use it, but ended being glad to have the option), grey water easy to empty.
The van was, on the whole, very user friendly and perfect for touring Tassie.
Our host Bev was wonderful to deal with, communications were clear and her knowledge of the van very thorough. The touring books included in the car were invaluable (as were Bev’s personal recommendations) as internet coverage was often unreliable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our car trips (picked up and dropped off to Launceston) with Bev and were amazed at what an adventurous life she has made for herself.
Everything about our trip was exceptional.
Thank you Bev and ‘The tin tent’
