After hiring Max for a week last August we were all keen to have another trip and it didn’t disappoint!

Tim was friendly, easy going and flexible and we had no problems with Max at all, the only sad thing was giving him back!

Tim is a nice guy and fantastic with his communication both before and during the rental period.

Unfortunately, Max is in need of some general repair before I think he is ready for a better review:

A few of the window blinds didn't work correctly, the table latch was faulty which required extra effort to put up and down each evening for the creation of the second bed, the freshwater reservoir displayed 0% capacity even when full so you had no idea how much water you had left.

The motorhome also pulled to the left while driving which made for extra effort when covering the miles up to Scotland and back. Tim also requires that you don't drive over 60 mph which is something worth bearing in mind as it makes journeys longer than planned.

It's also worth noting that the motorhome requires charging (electric) on pickup in order for the fridge to get going and requires water to be filled before we could set off which put us back an hour or so also.

Finally, the picture of the camper you see in the profile is not Max, the motorhome you're hiring does not have an awning.

Hopefully, Tim's mechanic can sort these issues out so the next hirer can enjoy their trip better.
