Description
Dora is a long wheel base, Highline 2017 VW with pop top roof, side awning and tailgate. Ideally located just off the M5 (J13) for easy access to the West Country and Wales. The lounge layout allows for a more sociable dining and relaxing/living area. It also provides plenty of storage space underneath the seats as well as the kitchen cupboards. The sleeping arrangements comprise a full size double bed in the pop top roof. Cancellation policy:
Dora needs to be returned in the same state of cleanliness as at the start of the hire to avoid additional charges. Please return with a full tank of diesel. For additional drivers, an administration charge of £25 will be charged. Vehicles can be left here while you are on holiday but this will be at the vehicle owners risk (there has never been a problem so far!). Keys to this vehicle must be left with Dora's owner, in the event of the alarm going off.

We were lucky enough to hire Dora for a two week trip around the UK. She looked after us very well. The living space was very comfortable, the kitchen area was great for cooking and preparing food and our six year old loved sleeping in the pop-top and having that little bit of space just for herself. Dora is very well equipped with everything you would need for a short or long trip. She drove very well and the rear parking sensors were very helpful. The vehicle handovers was super easy and the hosts were always on the end of the phone if we had any questions (of which there weren't many). We would recommend without hesitation this campervan for a short or longer trip and would like to thank Martin and Carole for helping us to have a lovely holiday.
We would like to thank Carole and Martin for entrusting us with their lovely camper van. We collected the vehicle with a smooth and professional handover by Carole. The van is well equipped with everything needed for our week in Cornwall. My wife and I are a little on the short side so we were comfortable on the bottom bed - however if you are above 5.8” the top bunk is the better place to sleep. We had our own drive away awning which was essential really to keep all our stuff out the van. The van was easy to drive and quite economical. We did the 500 miles on one tank. Handing the vehicle back was also very smooth, however getting back from Cornwall for 12.00 and cleaning the vehicle before the return meant a very early start. Overall though a great experience and we would recommend Carole and her camper to anyone.
We took Dora for a week travelling round Cornwall and can't rate it highly enough. The van was a great drive, had been recently and thoughtfully refurbished and the bed was super comfortable (we only used 1 but there are two). Carole had provided everything needed for a trip away and couldnt have been more accomodating, dropping the van off at the airport before setting off and meeting us at the station when leaving. All round excellent experience and will be renting again. Thanks for a great trip Carole.
