This is a conversion by Devon motorhome. Known as the Sahara
It’s a XLWB Peugeot Boxer. L4H2.
Fresh from the Devon factory this is a fantastically laid out motorhome, all set for a family adventure, we can perfectly fit our family of four in this van. The two separate rear passenger seats fold down to create 2 single beds and the rear dinette slides together to create double bed.
We have already had some great adventures and are often away creating more memories. When we aren’t using ‘Sandy’ we have decided that maybe you should be able to have your own adventure in our loved by us camper.
For a travelling couple the van would give you the option of leaving the rear bed setup as a fixed double and the front driver seat and passenger seat behind, adequately create a dining area for 2
The van is equipped with plates, cutlery, mugs, cooking pans & a kettle also a set of kitchen knives and chopping mats.
- Kitchen unit
- Hot water
Suitable for tall people
Side facing seats
- Dining area
- 4 Berths (2 separate beds, Convertible bed 2p)
Strictly no speeding
No BBQs under the canopy
This Really is our family’s brand new camper van, we would like you to respect that we use it as well and treat it like we do.

‘Sandy’ is a fully equipped and obviously very much loved van and was immaculately turned out.
Although I was a little apprehensive of driving a 6m+ van with a tow bar mounted Thule bike rack, I needn’t have worried. Within a few miles it all felt very normal – drives brilliantly and with the rear view camera, huge wing mirrors, cruise control, reversing camera and parking sensors was great on the motorways as well as in Dorset lanes, in car parks and on site.
As the early summer English weather was truly appalling, we did spend a lot of time in the van. We used all the facilities: fridge, cooker, heating, hot water, shower, loo, both on mains hook-up and on LPG / leisure battery and it all worked flawlessly. Even tried out the canopy/awning on the one evening the sun appeared!
So thanks Andrew and family (and Sandy) for an amazing experience.
