A 1992 VW transporter that’s been converted to a camper van. 3 seats in the front with the double seat swivelling round when parked up if required. Fitted with a Planar diesel heater for those chilly nights. This is connected to the main fuel tank. The single bed pulls out to make a double when required., complete with memory foam matress. The kitchen area is in the back, requiring the door to be opened. A double gas ring stove , disposable gas bottles valuable from most camping container and all the cooking equipment you require. Can be connected up to electrical hook up giving 240volt plugs at campsite. 12volt sockets around the van with USB sockets. The 12volt electrics are powered by a dual set of leisure batteries that are connected to the engine via a relay enabling them to be charged whilst driving, they also have a 80watt solar panels on the roof. There are two solar shower bags that can be hung on the shower arm that fixes to the roof rack. A small chemical toilette is available making the van fully self sufficient and ideal for wild camping. A small awning (2m x 2m) can be attached to the side of the van for when staying in a single location for a couple of days or me. This is an inflatable awning making setting up extremely quick, the awning door can be used as an additional sun screen/shade.
The van is fitted with a large roof rack and a kayak rack can be supplied if required.
We have now fitted a 42 litre water tank on the roof that connects to the tap in the kitchen.
A dash cam with rear view cam is fitted to the van.
