Description

The camper advertised is actually ours, so hopefully will feel more like a little home than a regular rental camper. It’ll come with everything you’d need for a good trip (tea, coffee, outdoor furniture, all cooking equipment etc). All you’d need to bring is some bedding and food! The actual van itself is a brand new conversion. The company who converted it is headed up by a wooden furniture maker with 25 years experience, he’s hand built everything from scratch. It has 5 seat belts, will sleep two downstairs and two in the roof. The roof is a full panoramic roof so the whole thing can be unzipped if you’ve got a good view. The van has a two ring gas hob and running water. There is also a 150W solar panel which produces enough energy to power the fridge, lights and USB ports meaning you can do a bit of wild camping if you want.

The van was a great home for 3 weeks and Sam was so helpful with everything. Would definitely recommend!

Sam had been very easy to get hold of, friendly and informative. I was a little nervous, as a first time hirer but all went smoothly. The camper was easy to drive and off we went. Setting up with the clear instructions that I had printed off were very good. I was however very disappointed and somewhat dismayed, especially in Covid times at the general lack of cleanliness of all the plates, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, cupboards and floors. There was cleaning equipment on board but I didn’t really expect to need to clean after a long drive. Sam did apologise when we got back and I have spoken to Camptoo who’ve said there are no cleanliness guidelines for owners - absolutely aghast! Once I’d cleaned we had a great holiday and there are some thoughtful touches in the van. I hope the van will be properly cleaned and sanitised between users and that they will have fun. I would recommend the experience and will definitely hire again
